Screen Captures

When you use the capture feature (⌘⇧X), Presto AI captures a region of your screen. This image is:

• Sent to our backend server for AI processing
• Forwarded to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis
• Not stored permanently on our servers — images are processed and discarded

Analytics

We collect anonymous pageview data on our website (page path and referrer) to understand traffic patterns. No personal information is collected.

Account Information

If you subscribe to Presto AI Pro, payment is processed through Apple's in-app purchase system or Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide AI-powered answers to your captured screen content
• To process subscription payments
• To improve our service and fix bugs

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Anthropic (Claude API) — processes screen captures to generate answers. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy
• Railway — hosts our backend API
• Cloudflare — hosts our website and provides CDN services

Data Retention

Screen captures are processed in real-time and not stored. Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. Subscription records are retained as required for billing purposes.

Your Rights

You can:

• Stop using the app at any time — no data persists
• Cancel your subscription through the app or your account settings
• Contact us to request deletion of any data we may hold

Security

All data transmitted between the app and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or our website.
